About me
I am a lead designer and art director with 12 years experience working within all aspects of interactive design. I am passionate about design and enjoy working within talented multi-disciplined teams to create great online experiences.
I have a good knowledge of usability (I’m a member of the Usability Professionals Association) and issues around accessibility (I’m well versed in WCAG2). In-depth understanding of Information architecture, can do competitor analysis, can come up with wireframes and sitemaps and can do use cases if I have to. I'm an accomplished interaction designer and am constantly trying to come up with new and innovative ways to interact with content that is both usable and engaging.
I live in Hackney, London where I am kept incredibly busy in the evenings and the weekends trying to entertain and contain my 3 boys. I enjoy gentlemanly pursuits like football, golf, cricket, chess, snooker, Mariokart and fishing (although I don't have any time to play them at present). I love playing most games—actually the only games I don’t like playing is Monopoly and Risk.
If you want to talk about a project (I'm always interested in hearing about interesting projects), or you just want a chat about something, contact me via the contact form and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
Check out my blog for my latest thoughts on all aspects of interactive design and user experience.
